Paying by credit card
Hipwear accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover/Novus and JCB for online orders, or orders sent via fax or postal mail.
When you place an order online with Hipwear we authorize the payment total and verify your billing information. We do not charge your credit card until the day we ship your items. It is imperitive that you complete the shipping information on the order form even if the bill to and ship to addresses are the same. Failure to do so will slow down your order. If you want to cancel your order, you must email Hipwear with your cancelation prior to the time Hipwear ships your order. Failure to do so will cause a restocking fee of 25%.
The charges on your credit card statement will appear as Hipwear, Inc.

Credit Card Fraud: Hipwear takes credit card fraud very seriously, and we have several security measures in place to detect fraudulent orders. In addition to checking both the billing and shipping information, we check phone numbers and email addresses for accuracy. Should Hipwear find inaccurate information, a fraud inquiry is placed on the order. Hipwear employs other fraud detection methods as well, and should we discover an attempt to commit fraud, we will report the crime to your local authorities, to the bank, your internet provider, and the credit card company. We have assisted prosecutors on several fraud cases and have helped put would be criminals in jail. If you commit credit card fraud against Hipwear, we promise to do the same to you!

Because credit cards are stored in our system for a maximum of 30 days, if for some reason your order takes longer than 30 days, a Hipwear representative may contact you for credit card information. If your credit card declines, Hipwear will not ship your items and will cancel your order if a new credit card is not provided within 24 hours.

Paying with a Debit Cards
Hipwear accepts debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo.

Paying by Money Order
Hipwear accepts money orders, if payable in U.S. Dollars to Hipwear. Money orders must be sent by mail and received by us before we can ship an order. Please use the Hipwear order form for paying by money order, and for sending orders by fax. Make sure to email Hipwear with an alert that you are sending a money order so that we can monitor the mail.

Fax Orders
Faxed in orders require payment by credit card. Please use the Hipwear order form and make sure you provide your billing, contact and shipping information, as well as the name and phone number of your credit cards issuing bank. Make sure you keep your fax transaction record. Make sure to email Hipwear with an alert that you are faxing your order so that we can monitor the fax machine.

Sales Tax
Hipwear is required by law to collect sales tax for orders that originate in California. Orders outside the state of California will not be charged sales tax.
